Michal Araszkiewicz (Secretary-Treasurer)

Michal Araszkiewicz is assistant professor at Department of Legal Theory at Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland. Michal served as Organisation Chair of the JURIX 2014 conference and is admitted to practice law in Poland. His research interests encompass legal philosophy, philosophical logic, epistemology, theories of argumentation and the application of Artificial Intelligence tools to legal reasoning.

Alexis Chun (New Member-at-large)

Alexis is a recovering lawyer and self-taught programmer. She is the co-founder of Legalese, a computational law startup that applies computer science to law. An advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, she received her Bachelor of Laws from Queen Mary, University of London.



Serena Villata (Returning Member-at-large)

Tenured Research Fellow in computer science at CNRS. Since January 2021, she is Deputy Scientific Director of the 3IA Côte d’Azur Institute.



Roland Vogl (Returning Member-at-large)

Executive Director of the Stanford Program in Law, Science and Technology and a Lecturer in Law at Stanford Law School. He is co-founder and Executive Director of the Center for Legal Informatics (CodeX).



Anne Gardner (Honorary Member)

Anne Gardner is a lawyer and a computer scientist. She obtained both her law degree and her Ph.D. from Stanford. She has played the role of pioneer in artificial intelligence (AI) techniques applied to perform legal tasks.
